Duration of Certified Course in Digital Film Making

This course will be of 6 months and lectures will be during Monday to Friday.

This is the first module (Script Writing)

Understanding Script / Screenplay

In this part of the course, you’ll get to know how you need to understand a scenario and write the script. What is screenplay? And various other things and tips and tricks regarding Script writing.

Film Genres & Terminologies

In this part of course, you’ll get to know about the various film genres like, Action, comedy, emotional and many more. You’ll get to know about various terminologies about film script writing.

(3-Act Structure) in script writing

This part of the course is very important for a script writer. You’ll get to know about various 3 Act Structure.

  1. Act I – Setup: Exposition, Inciting Incident, Plot Point One
  2. Act II – Confrontation: Rising Action, Midpoint, Plot Point Two
  3. Act III – Resolution: Pre Climax, Climax, Denouement

Understanding screenplay format with Graphs

In this part of the course, you’ll get to know about the screenplay format. How you need to accumulate your idea and write it on a word file or paper.

5 minute Short Film Concept, script development & preparing Final Draft

In this part of the course you’ll learn how to create a 5 min short film and how to write a script for it and how you’re going to present that script.

Basic grammar of Direction

When you’ll reach this part of the course, you’ll get to know about the basic grammar of the course and how each and every thing falls into place. 

Converting screenplay into Direction (Practical)

When you’ll reach this part of the course, you’ll get to know how to direct a screenplay with various practicals with our Versatile team. 

Preparing Direction Charts

You will get to know how a director create a chart for each and every play. How Directors manage and prepare for each and everything. 

Types of Shots/Use & Importance of Clapboard

You will get to know about various types of shots and importance of clapboard.

Scheduling

In this part of the course you’ll get to know how to schedule each and everything for direction. 

Preparing Shooting Script & Practical (5 minute Short Film)

At the end of this section you’ll get to know how to prepare a shooting script and we will also show you everything within a 5 minute or short film.

This is the Third module (Digital Videography)

Understanding camera basics, Censors, F Stops, Shutter

In this third part of the course you’ll get to know how the videography plays the role in Film making. You’ll get to know how camera works and many more insider concepts of this. 

Speed, Types of lenses, Color Temperature Basics, FPS

You will get to know how the lenses work in camera and what are the types of lenses and which are mostly used in Digital Film Making. What FPS should be used and what should be the color temperature. Each and everything will be covered by our teachers and faculty. 

Compositions & Camera Movements

In this part of the video you will get to know how the camera composition works and how the camera movement should be done for better filming. 

Operation of camera

You will get to know the (ins and outs) of the camera and in-dept knowledge of the various operations. 

Daylight-Practical

We will show you how the camera works in daylight and how you should film in Daylight. 

3 Point Lighting

Three-point lighting is a standard method used in visual media such as theatre, video, film, still photography and computer-generated imagery.

Lens and use & Lighting Practical

When you’ll reach this part of the course, you’ll get to know about the lens and how to use various lenses and you will get a proper practical of Lighting.  

Filters & Practical (5 minute Short Film)

We will show you how to use filters and various methods to use the filters. (You’ll shoot a 5 minute short film for practical experience.)

This is the Fourth module (Film Editing)
